STRATO: One model, from design to stone
The same digital model to check, optimize, print, and control every step.
Design
Designed for stone
Before anything is printed, STRATO checks the design against what stone and the printer can do, and adapts it with you.
Check
Every wall and every duct is measured against what stone can take. Where a wall is too thin or a duct too narrow, STRATO shows it.
Materials
The stone is chosen among the ones available, and its mix is worked out for it, grain by grain.
Make
From the model to the machines
Print bed optimization, slicer, and printer and robot controller.
Pack
Combine more jobs into the same print bed to save time.
Slice
No manual settings. The print bed is sliced automatically for best print performance.
Print
The job goes to the printer's controller, where you can simulate the whole process to avoid mistakes.
Finish
The robot's path is planned on the same model, then the robot mills, grinds and polishes each element along it.
Monitor
Every layer, as it is
Dedicated cameras watch the print as it runs. What they see is checked against the model, rebuilt in 3D for quality control.
Print and see
A camera records each layer of the bed as it prints. Every part is measured against its outline.
Rebuild in 3D
Any part on a layer can be seen in 3D as it was printed.
Quality checks
While it prints, every part is checked inside, layer by layer. Dry pockets, where a layer took too little binder, are found and shown where they are.
STRATO comes with every printer
Our machines run on STRATO, from the design check to the print record. It is part of every machine and every licence.
