Artefacts of the Future: Ethical Echoes in Medicine was an exhibition by ETH Zürich at SNF Nostos 2026, shown in the lobby of the Greek National Opera at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center in Athens.
The exhibition presented imagined relics of medicine to come, each one a starting point for a conversation about ethics and technology. Two of them were printed in stone: one designed by Levent Ozruh, one by Erzë Dinarama. Stone suits the premise, because it is the material in which relics usually reach us. Both designs have knotted, undercut forms that could not be released from a mould or reached by a cutting tool; they were printed in one piece, after a series of material tests to find a mix that would hold their thinnest sections.
